Salary: €55,000 - €65,000

An industry-leading HVAC manufacturer is looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join their growing team in Northern France. This role focuses on managing and growing key customer accounts within the HVAC industry, including heating and heat pump solutions. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and maintaining strong relationships with commercial and industrial clients across the region.

Roles and Responsibilities

As the Business Development Manager (Key Account Manager), you will be responsible for cultivating strategic relationships with key clients in Northern France, managing both existing accounts and new business opportunities. This role will require a deep understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to offer tailored solutions for commercial and industrial applications. Your focus will be on expanding the customer base, increasing sales through upselling and cross-selling, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key Account Management
    • Develop and manage strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in customer organisations across Northern France. Understand customer needs and provide tailored HVAC solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Business Development
    • Identify new business opportunities in the region, focusing on both new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Account Growth & Strategy
    • Create and execute strategic account plans aimed at driving long-term growth, achieving sales targets, and increasing market share in heating, and heat pump solutions.
  • Customer Relationship Building
    • Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and business reviews to understand evolving customer needs and deliver value-added solutions that ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Intelligence
    • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new business opportunities

Essential Experience

  • Proven Success in HVAC Sales
    • Extensive experience as a Business Development Manager or Key Account Manager in the HVAC industry, with a focus on heating and heat pump systems.
  • Deep Knowledge of HVAC Solutions
    • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and heat pump products, and the ability to offer tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Track Record of Account Growth
    • Demonstrated success in managing and expanding key accounts, achieving sales targets, and driving business growth in commercial and industrial applications.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic & Results-Oriented
    • Ability to think strategically, solve problems effectively, and maintain a proactive, self-motivated approach to business development.
  • Language Skills
    • Fluent in French with excellent English language skills.
