Job Title: VP - European Sales

Location: Germany

Salary: £200,000

We are seeking an ambitious and strategic commercial leader to drive sales performance across Europe. Based in Germany, this senior role will lead the regional sales organisation, delivering revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring profitability across key markets and product lines.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Commercial Leadership: Develop and execute a European sales strategy aligned with global business objectives; deliver sustainable growth and strengthen strategic customer relationships.
  • Team Management: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of account managers and business development professionals; set performance goals and foster a results-driven, customer-centric culture.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the senior commercial face of the business in Europe; negotiate major contracts, grow customer wallet share, and represent the company at key events and trade shows.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with supply chain, operations, R&D, and marketing to ensure reliable service, identify new opportunities, and support brand positioning.
  • Business & Market Development: Identify growth opportunities in emerging applications, sustainability-driven markets, and new geographies; monitor competition and provide input on pricing and portfolio strategy.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (desirable).
  • Fluency in English & German language skills.
