Job Title: Account Manager

Location: French speaking North Africa

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + bonus + benefits

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Achieve budgeted sales growth within the designated territory.
  • Identify and cultivate new business avenues, building a robust pipeline to ensure sustained growth.
  • Manage and support distributor teams to meet business targets.
  • Focus on global and regional key accounts, safeguarding core business while expanding market reach.
  • Utilize technical expertise to promote functional and active product portfolios, addressing customer needs with innovative solutions.
  • Foster strong business relationships with key accounts, aligning with customer strategies and needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement key account plans.
  • Work closely with R&D, commercial, and marketing teams to explore new business development opportunities.
  • Maintain deep regional knowledge to inform strategic decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with marketing, technical, and supply chain teams to achieve company objectives.
  • Accurately budget and forecast to assist supply chain management and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Utilize various Sales Management Tools, including CRM, pricing, and market research.

Essential Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical, cosmetics, or related science (B.Eng/ B.Sc/ B.Tech/ BPharm).
  • Proficiency in both French and English.
  • Minimum of 5 years B2B sales experience in Beauty, Home, or Pharma.
  • Established relationships with customers in West and/or North Africa.
  • Strong knowledge of Beauty, Home, and Pharma markets.
  • Technical/chemical background to support these markets.
  • Proven track record of delivering market growth.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience in implementing new products, solutions, and value selling programs.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability and resilience in changing environments.
