An established healthcare/medical business, recently expanded through acquisition, is seeking a Commercial Director to lead the commercial function and drive growth for its newly acquired operation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the overall commercial strategy for the business.
  • Lead sales, business development, and key account management teams to meet revenue and margin targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities, new markets, and potential partnerships.
  • Oversee pricing, contracts, and commercial negotiations to maximise profitability.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to ensure commercial strategy aligns with broader business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the commercial team.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decisions.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role, ideally in healthcare, medical, or a related sector.
  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth and managing complex commercial operations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
