Location: West Yorkshire

Package: £70,000 – £75,000 + benefits

• Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals to accelerate growth in the manufacturing sector.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
• Lead the pursuit of new business opportunities, negotiate complex contracts, and cultivate long-term client relationships.
• Oversee sales and marketing operations, ensuring revenue targets are met and the company’s products are effectively promoted.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure cohesive commercial operations.
• Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
• Assist in setting financial targets, developing budgets, and monitoring financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all commercial activities.

• Proven experience as a Commercial Director or similar senior role in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
• In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
• Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, including CRM and ERP systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration (desirable).
• CIMA qualified would be an advantage.
• Experience of managing supply chains.
• Exposure to products manufactured in the Far East would be an advantage.
