Salary: Circa €150,000

We are seeking a commercially focused and experienced Managing Director to lead a fast-moving and growing B2B business in BeLux. Based in Brussels, you will take full responsibility for business operations, strategic development, and team leadership across all departments.

This is a high-impact role with oversight of a talented team of professionals and a strong, long-established customer base. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, industry knowledge across commercial and industry turnkey filtration solutions and a commercial mindset to accelerate growth, particularly in emerging service and technology offerings.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the organisation with full P&L responsibility, ensuring the successful execution of the company’s strategic growth plan.

  • Support the sales team in driving growth in core markets and expanding service offerings such as installation, site surveys, and tailored service packages.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies focused on lead generation, customer retention, and proactive engagement.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including technology-driven service solutions.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the team, fostering high performance, motivation, and professional development.

  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Maintain effective communication with regional leadership through regular meetings and performance reporting.

  • Oversee operational excellence, resource planning, and organisational development to achieve sustainable results.

Essential Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in a senior leadership role, ideally in a technical, industrial, or service-oriented sector. Previous Managing Director experience is an advantage.

  • 5+ years of experience leading a commercial/sales development function delivering premium products and services to sectors such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, data centers, food & beverage, or other regulated industries.

  • Proven track record in driving commercial growth and managing cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in managing a P&L within a multinational, matrixed organisation.

  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of key management functions, including Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and HR.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems, analytics tools, and Microsoft Office.

  • Familiarity with service-based offerings, equipment maintenance, or aftermarket support is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of the BeLux market is preferred.

  • Strong language skills in – English, French & Dutch

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and interpersonal abilities.
