Salary: £65,000 + benefits
As Marketing Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the strategic direction and execution of marketing initiatives across multiple brands under the company umbrella. Leading a team of two Senior Marketing Executives and an apprentice, you will drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth across diverse markets.As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will contribute to shaping business strategy and ensuring alignment between marketing efforts and overall company objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports business growth across all brands and market sectors.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the marketing team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Work closely with the Senior Management Team to align marketing strategies with company-wide objectives and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and enhance the reputation of the company’s heritage and craftsmanship while evolving the brand for modern audiences.
- Oversee the development of compelling brand narratives and visual identities across all marketing channels.
- Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across multiple touchpoints, including digital, print, PR, and trade shows.
- Oversee the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and sales.
- Manage content marketing efforts, including website, social media, email marketing, advertising and print media.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce engaging storytelling, photography, and video content.
- Develop and oversee public relations strategies to maintain and strengthen the company’s reputation.
- Conduct market research and analyse trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Use customer insights to refine messaging, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
- Set and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
- Establish KPIs and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, reporting on performance to the board.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to drive lead generation and customer conversion.
- Foster strong relationships with key partners, industry bodies, media, and external agencies.
- Act as an ambassador for the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Plan and execute exhibitions around the world to showcase the company’s products and heritage, ensuring maximum exposure and engagement.
Essential Experience
- Degree/Qualification in Marketing would be very desirable.
- Product or Manufacturing background would be desirable.
- 5 – 10 years generalist marketing experience.
- Team management exposure.
- Creating and executing marketing strategies.
- Experience of website marketing.
- Online/digital and offline marketing experience.
- Experience of managing PR and re-branding campaigns.
