About the Role
This Global client is seeking a dynamic and ambitious New Business Development Manager to join the Group. Your primary focus will be to acquire new customers, expand our client base, and sell additional products and services to independent and corporate clients. This role also includes managing some existing client relationships, offering a unique blend of business development and account management.

Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge or experience in the personal care/beauty industry or industrial manufacturing processes is desirable.
Business Development:
- Identify, connect, and convert prospects into clients through lead generation and relationship building
Client Management
- Maintain high levels of service for both new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met.
Travel & Networking
- Extensive UK Travel with Western EU trips, to meet clients, attend meetings, and maintain strong relationships.
Market Research
- Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and target markets using various tools and methods.
Project Oversight
- Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet success criteria while staying within budget.
Commercial Acumen
- Perform commercial analysis of projects and ensure financial objectives are met by monitoring budgets and initiating corrective actions when required.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
Confidentiality
- Maintain strict confidentiality across all projects and client interactions.
Essential Experience
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven ability as a self-motivated achiever with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Knowledge of product management or creation is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of revenue models, profit/loss analysis, and financial forecasting.
- A working knowledge of French or German is advantageous but not essential.
Additional Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (with EU driving capability).
- Valid passport for regular travel across the UK and Western Europe. Proximity to a major airport is preferred.
- Flexibility for overnight stays and occasional work outside standard hours
