Salary: Up to £80,000

We are seeking a proactive and technically minded Sales Account Manager to join our growing team, specialising in Air Handling Unit (AHU) Refurbishment and Service Sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing key client relationships, and driving revenue growth through service, retrofit, and refurbishment solutions. This role combines strategic sales acumen with technical understanding to deliver sustainable and cost-effective upgrades to existing HVAC systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

Client Engagement and Support

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects, providing expert technical support and tailored system proposals.

Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across UK regions to expand market presence and achieve sales growth targets.

Order Management

  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure complete, accurate order documentation, assessing commercial risks including terms, credit, and framework agreements.

Collaboration

  • Partner with the UK Chiller Sales Manager and internal technical teams to align business strategies and ensure successful project delivery.

CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate customer and project data within Salesforce CRM, ensuring up-to-date reporting and reliable sales forecasting.

Client Interaction

  • Attend site visits, client meetings, and witness tests (both UK and European facilities) to ensure customer satisfaction and technical alignment.

Marketing and Networking

  • Organise and participate in marketing events, industry exhibitions, and CPD presentations to promote the brand and generate new leads.

Account Management

  • Manage existing client accounts, ensuring ongoing satisfaction, repeat business, and opportunities for cross-selling or upselling.

Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor competitor activity, including pricing, product innovation, and service offerings, to inform strategic positioning.

Continuous Improvement

  • Provide feedback and recommendations on products, services, and processes to support business growth and customer retention.

Problem Resolution

  • Resolve client concerns effectively, ensuring professional communication and long-term relationship stability.

Professional Development

  • Stay informed of emerging technologies, regulations, and industry developments through training, workshops, and networking.

Team Contribution

  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to achieve shared objectives and deliver outstanding customer value.

Essential Experience

    • Proven background in technical sales or business development, ideally within HVAC, AHU refurbishment, or service solutions.

    • Strong understanding of air handling systems, retrofit processes, and energy efficiency principles.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

    • Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar platforms.

    • Ability to assess existing systems and provide commercially viable upgrade or service solutions.

    • Willingness to travel throughout the UK.

    • Results-driven, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects and client accounts.
