Job Title: Commercial Finance Manager

Salary: up to £70,000
Reporting to and working closely with the Group Finance Director, this role will provide financial support and analysis to the Asset Rental Division. The Commercial Finance Manager will collaborate with the SLT to challenge projects, provide financial guidance, and identify strategic areas of focus.
The role requires strong communication skills, as it will work across multiple teams to ensure financial projects align with the company’s strategic goals and objectives. The Commercial Finance Manager will act as a bridge between finance and other departments, offering financial insights to support decision-making and drive performance.
Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Analysis: Deliver financial insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.

Project Support: Partner with project teams to ensure financial viability and alignment with corporate objectives.

Budget Management: Support preparation, monitoring, and management of budgets to ensure adherence to financial plans.

Financial Reporting: Produce and present financial reports, including cost analysis and variance reporting.

Stakeholder Communication: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular financial updates and recommendations.

Risk Management: Identify financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure robust controls.

Process Improvement: Drive process enhancements and embed best practices in financial management.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting, ideally within a manufacturing or related commercial environment.

Advanced Excel skills.

Proven experience supporting strategic projects and influencing decision-making.
