A well-established international business in the chemicals/HPC sector is seeking a senior commercial/sales leader to succeed a retiring owner. This is a confidential assignment and offers the opportunity to lead a key regional market, ensuring continuity and growth during a period of strategic expansion.

Role Purpose:
The role is responsible for leading commercial and sales activities in a defined regional market, maintaining key client relationships, and supporting a smooth transition from the outgoing owner. The focus is on sustainable growth, team integration, and strategic development.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead sales and commercial activities in the assigned region.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer and continuity from the outgoing leader.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Integrate effectively into a mature, experienced team and foster a stable, motivated environment.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions.

Essential Experience

  • Senior commercial or sales leadership experience, ideally in chemicals, HPC, or a related sector.
  • Regional market experience and understanding of local business culture.
  • Strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a complex or evolving environment.
  • Team-focused approach, with an emphasis on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
