The Managing Director will lead the Saudi Arabian business with full P&L responsibility and overall accountability for sales, projects, service, and support functions in the HVAC and data centre cooling segment. The role will proactively lead a multidisciplinary team, driving growth in data centre and commercial/industrial HVAC, operational excellence, and long‑term customer and partner relationships.
Roles and Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilitiesDevelop and implement the country strategy for HVAC and data centre cooling, including segment focus, channel strategy, pricing, and positioning.

Define the sales strategy for data centre, telecom, cloud, colocation, and large commercial/industrial clients, setting clear direction for sales leaders and key account managers.

Analyse and evaluate market potential in Saudi Arabia’s data centre and large building segments, using customer and market research to identify new project and service opportunities.

Build and strengthen relationships with developers, EPCs, consultants, MEP contractors, and data centre operators, and evaluate new distribution and partner channels.

Lead the service and maintenance organization to deliver best‑in‑class SLAs, uptime, and lifecycle support for installed cooling and HVAC systems.

Grow recurring revenue from service contracts, retrofits, upgrades, energy‑efficiency projects, and spare parts, tailoring offerings to local regulatory and customer requirements.

Translate strategy into pragmatic action plans with clear targets and measurable KPIs across projects, service, and channel development.

Lead sales and project forecasting, providing accurate 12‑month rolling forecasts to support production, supply chain, and resource planning.

Continuously optimize the organization, processes, and tools (CRM, project governance, service dispatch, etc.) to improve quality, responsiveness, and efficiency.

Collaborate closely with regional and global functions (Technical, Product Management, Data Centre Solutions, Marketing, Finance, Operations) to align on portfolio, pricing, and go‑to‑market.

Contribute to and drive group‑wide initiatives such as digital remote monitoring, smart services, and data‑driven maintenance solutions.

Personally manage and develop strategic key accounts, including hyperscalers, colocation providers, major enterprises, and government/mega‑project stakeholders.

Own the Saudi P&L, including revenue, margin, OpEx, headcount, and capex, ensuring delivery of budget and long‑term profitable growth.
Essential Experience

Degree educated in engineering (mechanical, electrical, building services) or business with strong technical affinity.

Minimum 10 years’ commercial or general management experience in HVAC, refrigeration, data centre cooling, building services, or related critical infrastructure.

At least 5 years in a senior management role with full budget/P&L responsibility and leadership.

Proven experience in international organisations and multicultural environments; Middle East and Saudi market experience is highly preferred.
