Salary: Up to £75,000
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead growth across the HI&I (Homecare, Industrial & Institutional) segment in Europe. This is a strategic, customer-facing role focused on developing new business opportunities while strengthening existing key accounts within the chemical sector.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a European sales strategy across the HI&I market segment
- Identify, target, and win new business opportunities with manufacturers, distributors, and end users
- Manage and grow existing key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and revenue growth
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across procurement, R&D, and commercial teams
- Work closely with technical teams to align product offerings with customer needs
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to inform strategy
- Deliver against revenue targets, margins, and KPI objectives
- Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings
Essential Experience
- Proven sales experience within the chemical industry (essential)
- Strong understanding of the HI&I market (homecare, industrial cleaning, institutional applications)
- Demonstrated success in business development and account management across Europe
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to operate independently in a remote, international role
- Willingness to travel across Europe as required
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Fluency in English (additional European languages advantageous)
