Red Diamond Executive Search 10 pledges for 10 years

We celebrate 10 years in business by giving back to our community in 10 unique ways!

To mark our milestone in November, the Red Diamond executive search team will complete 10 charity pledges to raise money for fantastic causes that benefit our community and support those who have helped us personally over the years.

These include The Sick Children’s Trust, which runs Eckersley House in Leeds. Our founders, Emma and Simon Robinson, were personally supported by the trust ten years ago when their son Jasper was desperately ill.

Eckersley House provided the couple a ‘home from home’ to spend as much time as possible at Jasper’s bedside. It also provided immense support and comfort to the Robinsons and others with sick children throughout a challenging time.

As well as Eckersley House, The Sick Children’s Trust has a further nine Homes from Home locations, supporting families across the nation with a shoulder to cry on and a place where they can stay close to their child.

Alongside our fundraising for the Sick Children’s Trust, the team will be taking part in various other challenges, including running and walking 100km, volunteering at an animal sanctuary, donating supplies to a local food bank, and director Simon Robinson will complete a solo cycling challenge of 100km in one day.

We will add an element of competition to finish the series with our very own Come Dine With Me challenge, pitting our team against each other in the dinner party classic game.

The ten pledges include:

1. Climb the highest peak in Wales, Mount Snowdon, as a team.
2. Help clean up our community for National Clean Up Day.
3. Host a Chocolate Tea Party for our families and local businesses.
4. Marketing executive Shannon Liu will walk, jog and run 100km throughout October.
5. Volunteer our services to our local university to help support graduates in their next steps.
6. Please contribute to our local food bank.
7. Host a charity raffle.
8. Volunteer at an animal shelter
9. Simon Robinson will complete a 100km cycle ride in one day.
10. Host a charity Come Dine With Me competition as a team

The pledges will kick off on Saturday (September 18) when the team heads to Wales to climb Mount Snowdon. Aalberts kindly sponsor this challenge.
